Homer Marshman
Homer was the leader of a local (Cleveland) group of businessmen. The NFL granted Homer's group a Cleveland franchise for $10,000. This one done to lure one of the top
AFL franchises away. Previously, Mr Marshman's group had own a Cleveland Rams franchise in the
1936 AFL season.
The ownership group also financial the team with $55,000 in capital.
In June 1941, the Marshman led group sold the Rams to Daniel F. Reeves and Frederick Levy Jr. for about $100,000.
