Cleveland Rams

The Cleveland Rams played in the NFL from 1937 to 1945. They won one NFL championship in their last season (1945). There was also a Cleveland Rams franchise in the AFL for the 1936 season.

On February 12th 1937, the NFL granted Homer Marshman a Cleveland franchise for $10,000. Shortly after the Rams franchise won their first NFL Championship in 1945, the team received approval from the league to move to Los Angeles. In 1995, the Rams franchise was moved again, this time to St Louis.
